Whilst La Premiere Classe operates mainly a temporary staff agency, many of its excellent staff are required for permanent positions with various residential homes. We are able to provide work regularly, within residential nursing homes and the private sector. Working with us allows you to choose when and where you work. We are able to offer a wide variety of shifts with numerous clients to suite your availability.

As well as nursing staff who are qualified for mental health nursing we also employ a number of registered general nurses.

General care staff must possess at least three months experience of either working in a residential home or have worked in domicillary care for a similar period. If they do not have this amount of experience, they are offered the opportunity to take up our training courses.

Domestic staff are also available for general cleaning in residential or nursing homes, or for domiciliary (domestic) care.

The service is available for 24 hours, seven days per week, 365 days per year. Our office is manned Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and then out of hours between 5pm and 9am the following day by our out of hours consultant. We are always just a phone call away, at any time night or day!

Initial Telephone Introduction

Following on from your application a member of our recruitment team will contact you. They will ask you whether you have any previous experience, any qualifications, your current place of work and the type(s) of work you are looking for.

Face to Face Interview

For those progressing onto the next stage you will be invited into your local branch for an interview with one of our recruitment consultants. This will be an opportunity for us to find out more about you. During the appointment you can expect the following:

You will be required to complete our in-depth application form

Processing Your Application

Upon successful completion of the application process your CRB form will be sent off, your references contacted and a request made for any further information that we may require from you.

Upon completion of your mandatory training and confirmation that all required documentation is present and correct you will be classed as compliant and will be contacted by a recruitment consultant to be booked into your first shift.
